Falling Action Resources

The falling action of a story is what happens after the conflict has been resolved and the story is beginning to wrap up.  The characters have changed and may have grown, the tension from the conflict is less, and the story begins to move towards a conclusion.

The following resources provide a graphic organizer to determine consequences, good or bad, of the conflict, and a list to check off possible components of falling action. It is not an all-inclusive list, and may not have every single part in every story, but is meant to be a guide.
