On a bright sunny day,
We went without delay.
To the river for some fun,
We walked out in the sun.
To chase all the birds
Even if we look absurd.
We took a boardwalk trail,
And walked right out there,
To a view so breathtaking,
We knew it was worth undertaking.
With river flowing so gently,
And clouds so white coming out eventually,
The bird songs filled the air,
While they flew around without a care.
As the time slowly passed,
It was time to leave at last.
Back down the trail we went,
Though our time there was well spent.
