Hungry Hungry Squirrel

It’s been a rough winter with nothing to eat, I’m so thankful for this strange food I found on the ground!  I wonder who placed them here, where could they be from?  Oh well, it doesn’t really matter.  They are so good!  I wonder if Sammy heard my call for dinner?  I hope he gets here soon, I could use a friend.  These birds better stay back!  I don’t want to share!

I can hardly feed my family, and I need to figure out how to take this food back to them.  Spring is just around the corner.  I can’t wait!  But in the meantime, I’m here enjoying this strange food.  It’s sweet and tangy, the perfect combination!   Why didn’t I find these before?  I’ve surely been missing out.  I’m not sure why my mother always warned me to stay away from this building, but it seems perfectly safe.  And the food is good, especially this strange sweet stuff.  Oh the life I have!
