So, I did NaNoWriMo in July and have been super busy, which is why I haven’t posted much lately. Yesterday, I reached 50,000 words. 50,000 words in 19 days, 130,000 words in 7 weeks. I’ve written two books, although they both need to be edited and the 2nd one really still needs a little more added to it. So to say the least, I’ve been a little busy but I’m still writing, even if I haven’t blogged as much.
Now I know some people are thinking “Wow! 130,000 words, I could never do that.” Maybe you weren’t born to be a writer, but I believe we all have a story to tell. Even if you don’t want to write, we all have dreams and passions. Mine just happens to be for writing, but whatever yours is, go after it. Don’t let life pass you by without trying to reach your dreams. You may not get there, but you must try. Dream big, and do good, treating others as you would want to be treated. Follow your heart, and live every day to the fullest.
There will be many battles along the way to discourage you and convince you to give up. Following dreams isn’t easy. The journey is hard and the road is long, but the destination is worth it.
