Back Story- Old Shoes

What is the back story of yesterday’s shoes?  Who did they belong to?

Backstory:  These shoes belonged to Dottie McAllen, mother of Mike McAllen and grandmother to several children including Cady McAllen.  Cady finds them in an attic corner, a little worn and wonders whose they are.  When she asks her grandmother, Dottie tells her of how she used to wear them in the 1950’s when she and Cady’s Grandpa McAllen would go out dancing.  She had forgotten they were there.  She tells Cady the story of how she met Grandpa McAllen in a dance hall, and how much they loved each other for many years.  She gives them to Cady before Cady goes to a dinner at church, where she meets a boy she later marries.
