Finish the story:
“The mushroom was his only source of shelter. Thomas didn’t like being stuck out in the rain, but finding the tiny mushroom gave him at least some relief from the weather. It had been a long day. Five hours ago, he was 6 foot 4. Now he couldn’t even reach the top of a tiny mushroom. The day couldn’t get much worse.
A bolt of lightning struck nearby him, making him jump. There was no place to hide. Thunder boomed, and it seemed louder than any he’d ever experienced. A moment later, a frog hopped next to him. Just yesterday, he’d held the critter in his hand and now it stood next to him, taller than he was. “Hey man, what are you doing out here?”
Thomas froze. The frog was talking to him. He must be out of his mind. Something strange had happened when he’d entered that scientist’s machine.”
