North Country

If you’re going to live in North County, you’d better have a strong roof.  You’d better be prepared for cold, for snow and ice.  If you’re going to live in Northern Michigan, know that the weather can change in five minutes, literally.

If you’re going to live in the snow belt, be prepared to dig out.  Get your snowshoes ready, buy sled dogs and a sled, prepare for a “good old-fashioned winter.”

If you’re going to live in North Country, learn to ski, buy a sled, go birding.  Don’t let the snow and cold and ice keep you from getting out!

If you’re going to live in Northern Michigan, enjoy the beauty of it all.  Sure, it’s a long drive to town, but it’s quite the adventure to get there.
